Re-engineered with the next generation of Legacy solar panels and based off of our best-selling suitcase portable kit is now packed with new features to make your off-grid venture hassle-free. Featuring a new handle and closure system this portable solar kit is designed to allow for the easiest deployment and storage. 

Ideal for medium RVs or projects, this panel generates 150 watts at 8 amps. The 5-stage, 10-amp charge controller is integrated into the panel to protect your 12-volt battery from overcharging. The weather resistant charge controller’s large digital display lets you monitor your power usage both in real time and over longer periods of time and hinges making it always visible from the backside.

By integrating the weather resistant ATP connections into the Legacy Series portables this charge controller paired with our ATP Y Adaptor (ITC1036) can be easily bypassed to create an unregulated system when necessary.

150 WATT SUITCASE PANELS

Product arrived as promised on time for my upcoming trip. 2 - 75 watt panels in a great padded case. Controller, 15' cord and a pair of alligator clamps for direct charging if needed. A bit heavy but has a nice handle for carrying. Easy set up. i purchased this as a supplement for my rooftop 190 watt unit on a Keystone Cougar with OTG package. It is shaded most afternoons in the camps we usually attend. Should have been mounted on the canopy side off the roof, not the slider side. I will need an additional 15' extension to get it in the sun longer in the late afternoons. Dry camped for 7 days, and never got below 12.7 volts on the 2 marine batteries on my rig.

Solar power for taking RV off grid

I had a few questions before ordering, and the customer service was excellent. My airstream was already wired for solar, so all I had to do was plug in one cord and I had power almost immediately. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the panel. I’ve used it four days in a row now and my battery has been fully charged every day.
