Legacy Series 150 Watt Portable Regulated Solar Kit (Charge Controller Included)

This is my first ever solar set for my travel trailer while out hunting. I was very pleased with the ease and effectiveness of the Zamp solar portable 150 watt unit. I always had battery power even after days out in the forest. I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Legacy Series 150 portable unit.

We purchased this suitcase style panel to help keep our camper van's refrigerator going if we weren't connected to AC power. It works! It's easy to set up and use. We still need to experiment to see if it will help run a coffee maker. Maybe an electric skillet? And with the alligator clips, maybe it could charge the starting battery if needed.

The whole experience was 5 star. I had some questions, called Zamp and spoke with Melissa. (I hope that's right.) She answered them clearly and accurately. I purchased the 150W portable kit based on our discussion. It worked perfectly and provided the power that we needed for boondocking in our Airstream Bambi (19CB). It provided enough energy to keep the AGM batteries full so we could power our refrigerator, a few lights at night, the water pump and USB outlets to charge our phones. It was easy to set up. The trailer came pre-wired so I only had to plug the panel into an existing socket. The panel's display was clearly explained and easy to read. It as a good purchase, for sure.
